On the edge of Lake Seminole in Florida lies a strip mall with an unassuming gaming store called Warforged table top games. Though the outside is more reminiscent of a dive bar with its blacked out windows; large open flags, Star Wars and Warhammer flags indicate it is anything but. the inside is very welcoming and open with a good amount of overhead light and multiple rooms and a decent selection of games, both miniature and board games.
Just through the front door, there is a good sized room with several gaming tables in the center and gaming products against the walls. On the left wall, they have a good selection of games-workshop along with some snacks and drinks. Opposite the front door and next to the register counter, you will find paints on one side and dice and other miscellaneous trinkets. on the right wall, they have some Atomic Mass Games including Star Wars Shatterpoint and Legion and Marvel Crisis Protocol, they also have other minis games like A Song of Fire and Ice and Battletech. Finally, against the front door wall, they have some board games.
The other two rooms are dedicated for gaming, one larger room with high tables for miniatures games and the other smaller room has normal tables more suited for card games. The interesting thing about this store is that they don't carry much in the way of CCGs like MTG and Pokemon and don't buy or sell cards. they also charge people to use the non-main game room, but that could just be to reserve a table.
Finally, they have several display cases throughout the store with beautifully painted miniatures painted by the store staff.
Over all, I liked the place and though there are several other gaming stores close-ish by, but they are far enough away that there is little competition for customers. they have a good Facebook page with lots of pictures and it seems like they do a lot of special events like costume contest for Halloween and a friendsgiving in November! I definitely recommend this store and dont let the exterior deter you!
